About

Opened in November 2023, Pulse Fitness makes its home in a stylish, boutique setting on Sunset Drive in South Miami. The studio is situated in a convenient location that offers plenty of paid street parking.

Class Experience

The class size was intimate, with just five attendees, allowing for personalized attention.

Instructor

Erin, our instructor, created a welcoming environment. She was not only friendly, but also attentive, ensuring everyone’s form was correct and providing individual guidance.

The Vibes

The studio offers a unique ambiance with a dark setting and neon-lit mirrors on both sides, perfect for checking your form. I thought the music was set at a pleasant volume, adding to the energetic environment without being overwhelming.

The Workout

I’m familiar with reformer Pilates, but the class was still challenging and  fresh. It resembled a strength training session, structured in sets.

The focus on core exercises like planks and crunches was intense, complemented by upper body and lower body workouts, including tricep extensions, deadlifts, lunges, and squats. While the class was demanding for me, I was able to use modifications to make it perfect for my skill level. The workout is high intensity with no jumping, perfect for those who are looking for a low impact workout that will give you results.
